1,200 people are becoming citizens tomorrow morning at Rice University Stadium.
Parking lot opens at 8am. Volunteer Deputy Registrars are needed.

Immigration officials announced plans Thursday to hold an emergency naturalization ceremony for more than 1,240 immigrants whose citizenship oaths were postponed because of Hurricane Ike, jeopardizing their chance to vote in the coming November election.
The ceremony, originally set for Sept. 24, will now be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Rice Stadium, said Maria Elena Garcia-Upson, a spokeswoman for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. Immigrants being sworn in as citizens are encouraged to arrive by 7 a.m. to fill out paperwork.
