Fine Arts Week, presented by the Fine Arts Department in the School of Liberal Arts and Behavioral Sciences, will feature a Jazz Spectacular Tribute to Howard Harris, founder and director of the Jazz Studies Program at TSU, on Thursday, April 10 at 7:30 p.m. in the Sterling Student Life Center. Focus ’08, 4th Annual Professional Development and Leadership Conference, hosted by the Graduate Student Association at the Jesse H. Jones School of Business will be held April 3-5, 2008. The University Players Drama Organization in the Department of Fine Arts at TSU, received a 1st Place rating in the Best Play competition at the National Association of Dramatic and Speech Arts (NADSA), a 72 year old organization that showcases theatre students from HBCU's.
